I’m not sure how well this fits with the theme, maybe I just have Panda’s on the brain. My initial idea for the topic was Sunglasses, but it ended up being a boring blues brother thing that I don’t even want to share. So from there I decided it would be the shade(s) of trees and after the reveal of the female Pandaren on Monday, well here we are. I’m going to try and drop her into Illustrator sometime soon and get some linework going. Perhaps I’ll color her in monochromatic shades.
I also want to try and be better about posting and getting IF topics up by Monday, but last weekend was my Birthday, so I was lazy. (I’m also going to try and post more than just images. At least a short description of what I’m thinking.)

A new sketch I’m working on. I’m not sure if it’s going to be digital or a painting, but I do know I’m going to have her finished for Dragon*con. I really prefer the way my art looks when it’s digital, but I’m then left wondering how exactly can I bring originals to shows. And with D*C’s art show rules, I really need to have some originals. I like using canvas prints as stand in originals, but the printing costs are quite expensive for something that may or may not sell.
I’ll post some updates as I color her.

I’m working on a new calendar for next year. I’m planning on doing the chinese zodiac. Because the current year is the year of the Rabbit, I started with that one. Sadly my scanner cut off the top of her head and feet. She should have bunny ears and toes. Oh well.

One of the pictures I had done in August, before I got caught up in finishing the calendar and commissions. It’s a retake on an older picture I had done, in my current style.
I’m going to try and make a video of me working on this one. Now I just have to figure out how, having lost my previous computer and software. I’m thinking of looking into something like livestream. At any rate, when I figure it out, I’ll post it here.

Not such a great sketch, but I finally came up with a design for cancer. It was mostly the crabby bits giving me trouble. I decided not to give her pincers, but the legs work. I’ll probably end up finding a crab with a neat shell pattern.
